Your Neighborhood

A getaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown

Southwest is home to some of the best school districts (and their encompassing neighborhoods) in the entire state of Texas. Westlake Lake Hills and Lake Travis boasts a number of large estates perched along some of the area’s highest topography. The area is known for an abundance of spirited boosters devoted to supporting the area’s award-winning schools, not to mention the Westlake Chaparrals and Lake Travis high school sports teams, which frequently make runs at the state titles. In this area, you will find the community  coming together to enjoy moderate year-round temps on the patios of local restaurants or by the Lake.

The Market

Although it is removed from the city center, the southwest submarket remains popular for office users. Current occupancy rates have the submarket at 86% capacity, but the average market rent for the area is less than that of CBD, Eastside, Domain and Arboretum. This is the ideal location for a company looking to have an office in the Hill Country or close to the suburbs in which their employees may live.

Fun For the Whole Family

Once considered the outskirts of town, West Lake, Lost Creek, and the Rollingwood areas still feel like an escape from the city, plus the conveniences of a bustling suburb. While there are strict late night curfews for restaurants, and you may not find any late-night spots, there are plenty of cherished eateries, like Texas Honey Ham, Blue Dahlia, or The Oasis in Lake Travis,  in addition to an array of independent boutiques dotted amid national chains all throughout the area. Additionally, the area is prime with outdoor spots like the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve as well as the picturesque trails that run through the Barton Creek Greenbelt, a favorite among hikers, bikers, and rock climbers. The laidback community vibe, kid-friendly restaurants and activities, and spacious homes all make this a great place to grow roots and thrive.
